Robert Kennedy

Robert was born in Fort Worth, TX and enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 2004 as a Parachute Rigger (92R). Robert earned his eligibility while deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom X with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. While serving in the Army, Robert earned The Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), Good Conduct Medal (4th Award), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (with 2 stars), Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd Award), as well as parachutist badges from Germany (Gold), Chile, Italy, Spain, Estonia, Netherlands, Poland, Israel, and the German Marksmanship Badge in Gold. Robert Left active duty in March 2018 and transferred to the Reserves where he serves as a Horizontal Construction Engineer (12N) with 712th Engineer Company in York, SC.
Robert is married to Ginger Kennedy for over 20 years and have four sons William, Dylan, Michael, and Harrison. Robert is also very active in the MOC, where he currently serves as the Seam Squirrel for Pup Tent 8, and the Grand Sr. Vice Commander.
Robert Is also a member of Phoenix Lodge 8 A.F.A.M., Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War MG Thomas H. Ruger Camp 1, and the Fayetteville Independent Light Infantry where he serves as a member of the color guard as well as a history SGT where he is assists with the acquisition, curating, and preservation of artifacts as well as conduct presentations of a historical nature related to NC military history.
