I, Nathaniel “Jake” Drisker was born in Tuskegee Alabama and after graduation I moved to the “Big City” New York.  A few years afterwards I joined the military and received my Basic Training at Ft Dix, NJ and then received further training as a Transportation Coordinator. I then traveled to South Korea and several other Army Installations where I met and married Jennifer, a Navy member at the time and now my wife Jennifer of 36 years. 

After the military, I joined the DAV and American Legion and then I finally joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars around 2009 or 2010.  I am a Past Post Commander and current District Commander.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Sociology.  I enjoy helping people when my own issues are not at the forefront.
