Eric was born in Kinston, NC and grew up all around the eastern part of the state.  In 1980 he moved to northern Virginia.  While in high school Eric enlisted with the VA-ARNG. After graduation Eric completed Basic & AIT at Ft. McLellan in Anniston AL (Military Police).

He served in Operation Desert Storm with the 22nd Support Command, the 18th Military Police Bde and the 89th Military Police Bde.  While in country he participated in site security at the Saudi Arabian Military Headquarters in Riyadh, convoy route security at multiple sites, and base security at an American desert post.  After leaving the service, Eric served as a Police Officer in Harrisonburg VA.  Since, he has been working in many careers within the IT industry, including Programming, Database Administration, Web Site Development as well as Application Development and Support.

Eric is a member of Kernersville VFW Post 5352.
